Learn AI properly. Then put something real online.

Guruji is a free app for adults who get nervous around technology. Seven short lessons on using AI well, then four courses that end with a real page on the internet, at an address you can send to anyone.

No hearts to lose. A wrong answer gets a hint and another try.

The path

One short course. Then you build.

Everyone starts with the same seven lessons on AI. Finish those and four more courses open up, taken in order, each one waiting until you have done the one before it. You never hand-write code in these four. You say what you want in plain English, Claude writes it, and you put it online yourself.

AI, Done Right

7 lessons · 2 units · about a week

Everyone starts here

What AI actually is, what it costs, what is safe to tell it, and how to check whether it just made something up.

Ship It Yourself

13 lessons · 4 units

Opens after AI, Done Right

Put your name on the internet. You finish with a real page at a real address, on your own free Claude and Cloudflare accounts, which stay yours after the course ends.

Vibe Check

11 lessons · 3 units

Opens after Ship It Yourself

Now own what you made. Name what it is built from, follow a click through your own page, read an error without panicking, and answer the one question that matters: what could someone do with this that you did not intend.

Get Found

31 lessons · 9 units

Opens after Vibe Check

Nobody came. Here is why, and what to do: a title and preview worth sharing, somewhere real to put it, and an honest count of who actually visited.

Solve It For Someone

17 lessons · 4 units

The last one

Build something one real person actually needs, who is not you. It counts when they use it.

Seventy-nine lessons in all, and something real at the end of every course. By the last one you have made something for yourself and something for another person. What you build after that is your call.

The app

This is what you open every day

One lit lesson and one obvious next tap, never a wall of choices. It runs in any browser, installs to your phone from the browser, and keeps working with no signal. Light theme and dark.

The Guruji app: a left rail with the diya mascot, streak and XP, next to a lesson path for building your first web page.
Your learning path. One obvious next tap, never a wall of choices.

Side tracks

Want to write the code yourself? There is a course for that too

The four courses above never ask you to type code by hand. If you want to understand every line anyway, or you are younger and have the time, these two sit off to the side and you can take them whenever. The panel at the top of this page is exactly how the first one feels.

Coding

90 lessons · 15 units

Open to anyone, any time

Real HTML and CSS, typed by you and checked as you go: headings, text, images, and links, then color, spacing, and layout. There is a free editor to play in.

JavaScript

How it treats you

Built for someone software has already made feel stupid once

No login to start

Open it and learn. No account, no email. Progress saves on your own device.

Five minutes is enough

Lessons are short on purpose. One a day builds a real habit without feeling like a chore.

Never punishing

No hearts to lose, no red marks, nothing taken away. A wrong answer gets a hint and another try.

It ends on the internet

The four courses do not end with a certificate. They end with a page you made, live at a real address, on accounts that are yours to keep.

Skip what you know

Already know a unit? Take the short check at the top of it and jump ahead. Nothing makes you sit through what you have already got.

Works everywhere

Runs in any browser and installs to your phone like an app. Learn on the bus, no signal needed.

Why I made this
I am nineteen and I build this on my own, with no company behind me. I made it for my own family first: a cousin learning to code, an aunt, parents who were never handed an easy way in. The first people to use it had been paying about a hundred dollars a month for tutoring. Guruji is the patient version of that, free: a lamp that lights the next small step, and waits for you.

Questions

The things people ask before they start

Is it really free?

Yes. Every lesson, no card, no trial running out. If a paid extra ever arrives later, the courses on this page stay free.

Do I need to know anything first?

No. It assumes you have never used AI properly and have never written a line of code. If you can use a phone or a browser, you are ready.

What accounts will I need?

Two free ones of your own, and only once you reach the building courses: Claude, where the code gets written, and Cloudflare, where your page lives. Both are free for what these courses need, both belong to you, and both keep working after you finish. Guruji never holds your site or your logins.

Do I have to sign up for Guruji?

No. You can learn without signing in at all. Your progress saves on the device you are using. An optional free account carries it between your phone and your laptop, and you can add one whenever, or never.

Will I lose my progress?

It is saved on your device, so it is waiting for you next time in the same browser. If you clear your browser or switch to another device, that local progress does not follow you. That is what the free account is for.

What will I actually be able to do?

Ask AI for something and get a useful answer, and know when it is wrong. Then, by the end of the second course, there is a page with your name on it, live at an address you can send to anyone. By the fourth, someone who is not you is using something you made.

How long does it take?

The first course is about a week at five minutes a day. After that you set the pace. Some people do a unit in one sitting, others take a month. There is no timer.

Who is behind it?

One person. Ashmit, nineteen, who built it for his own family. There is no company, no investors, and nothing here is trying to sell you anything.

Seven lessons from now, the building starts

No login. No cost. Five minutes, and the first one is about what AI actually is.
